GREENSBORO - Contract crews for the N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close a bridge south of Greensboro this week for bridge repair.
Beginning at 8 a.m. Sept. 23, crews from Zachry Construction Corp. will close the Rehobeth Church Road Bridge over Highway 29 until 7 p.m. that evening.
The closure will take place during the same timeframe the following day.
Motorists are encouraged to check DriveNC.gov for real-time traffic updates and utilize the following detour route:
- From South of Highway 29, head southwest on Pepperstone Drive to W. Vandalia Road
- Turn right onto W. Vandalia Road
- Turn right onto Tolar Drive
- Take Tolar Drive to Rehobeth Church Road
