CASTLE HAYNE – A section of Blue Clay Road in New Hanover County will temporarily close beginning next week.
A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close both directions of Blue Clay Road where it intersects with Sidbury Road for utility installation. The road will remain closed for about three months.
Local traffic will be detoured via North College Road to Parmele Road.
Motorist should use caution when traveling near the work zone and use alternate routes to avoid delays.
