ROCKY MOUNT – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will reopen the license plate agency (LPA) on Oct. 7 in Wilson.
The agency is located at 4000 Ward Blvd., Suite D, at the Toisnot Village Shopping Center, in Wilson, and will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, except on state holidays. The office will be owned by Two Hawk LPA Services, Inc., and will be operated by Harvey Godwin, Jr.
In North Carolina, NCDMV oversees LPAs, but the agencies are managed by private businesses or local governments.
LPAs offer vehicle registration services and title transactions, as well as vehicle license plate renewals, replacement tags, disability plates and placards, and duplicate registrations. There are 130 license plate agencies currently operating across North Carolina.
