GREENSBORO – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation are scheduled to close lanes in both directions of U.S. 29 for two days in Greensboro, weather permitting.
Norfolk Southern Railway will close a lane of U.S. 29 North on Nov. 3 and a lane of U.S. 29 South on Nov. 4 near East Market Street for crews to replace railroad ties on the overhead bridge.
Both lane closures will start at 9 a.m. and reopen by 4 p.m. each day.
Drivers should prepare for delays and remain alert to crews in the area.
