JACKSONVILLE – An Onslow County road is scheduled to close for bridge maintenance beginning Monday.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will close both directions of Holly Shelter Road near Burgaw Highway to replace deteriorated bridge timbers. This replacement is necessary for the safety of the traveling public.
Holly Shelter Road is expected to reopen Nov. 13.
Drivers should use caution when traveling near the work zone and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
