SPIVEY’S CORNER – A Sampson County road will temporarily close for a pipe replacement beginning Wednesday.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Sinclair Lake Road near U.S. 421 beginning Nov. 5 to replace a crossline pipe. The road is expected to reopen Nov. 25, weather permitting.
A detour route is available via Sinclair Lake Road to U.S. 421 to Bud Johnson Road.
Drivers should use caution when traveling near the area and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
