DAVIDSON COUNTY – The N.C. Department of Transportation recently awarded a $6.3 million to resurface sixteen secondary roads to JT Russell & Sons Inc.
The contract includes repaving and milling several sections of roads in High Point, Lexington, Linwood, and Thomasville. The sections include:
- Hampton Road
- Lake Road
- W. Holly Hill Road
- City Lake Road
- Lower Lake Road
- Kennedy Road
- Pleasant Grove Church Road
- Chestnut Street Ext.
- Willow Oak Road
- Joe Moore Road
- New Jersey Church Road
- Fairlawn Drive
- Jersey Church Road
- Circle Drive
- Hugh Miller Road
The contractor can start as early as March 2026 and is expected to be completed by September 2027.
