WINSTON-SALEM – Drivers should prepare for delays Wednesday using U.S. 52 southbound north of Interstate 40 while the pavement is repaired.
Maintenance workers for the state Transportation Department will repair a pothole in the left lane of the U.S. 52 South bridge crossing Waughtown Street near mile marker 109.
The left lane is scheduled to be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, so drivers should expect delays and proceed cautiously in this work zone.
