RALEIGH – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to close a lane of Interstate 440 near Hillsborough Street for paving work this weekend.
Crews will close one of three lanes along I-440 East near the Hillsborough Street exit on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. This work is part of the I-440 improvements project.
The expected impact on traffic is low, but drivers should plan for possible delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
