HIGH POINT – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation is set to perform lane closures on Interstate 85 in High Point starting this week for bridge rehabilitation.
Beginning Dec. 17, crews will close the left lane of I-85 North and South between mile markers 112 and 113 near Liberty Road.
The daily closures, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be continuous until the project’s completion in late March, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead as their commute may take longer than normal and use caution when traveling around the work zone.
