RALEIGH – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to close the ramp from Interstate 440 East to Wade Avenue East for paving operations.
Crews will close the ramp Sunday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Traffic will continue on I-440 East to the Hillsborough Street Exit, I-440 West back to Wade Avenue.
Motorists are urged to remain alert, follow detour signs and use caution near the work zone.
