WARSAW - The N.C. Department of Transportation has temporarily closed a Duplin County road for maintenance.
A section of Abner Phillips Road over Grove Creek closed this morning for bridge maintenance. The road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on Dec. 15, weather permitting.
Local traffic can detour via Abner Phillips Road to West Ward's Bridge Road to N.C. 50.
Drivers should use caution when traveling near the area and check DriveNC.gov for updates.
