KANNAPOLIS – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation will perform multiple lane closures along Interstate 85 this weekend, weather permitting, for concrete repairs.
The left two lanes of Interstate 85 at mile marker 63 is scheduled to close Nov. 23 from 9:30 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Then Nov. 24-25, the right two lanes of the interstate will close from 9:30 p.m. – 5 a.m. to complete the repairs.
Motorists should allow extra travel time while work is underway and be alert to the crews in the area.
