UPDATE: Forsyth County Road Requires Temporary Closure for Improvements

UPDATE: Oct. 31: NCDOT contract crews have postponed the upcoming closure on Knoll Ridge Drive and will announce the new date when it is scheduled.

UPDATE Oct. 27: Due to the weather forecast, NCDOT contract crews have postponed the upcoming closure on Knoll Ridge Drive. Contractors have rescheduled to begin Nov. 3 and end on Dec. 12.

WALKERTOWN – As part of the U.S. 158 widening project, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will close Knoll Ridge Drive at 6 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 27 until Dec. 5, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to facilitate construction of the new U.S. 158 West alignment and Knoll Ridge Drive intersection.

To help motorists navigate around the work zone, a signed detour will be provided along Reidsville Road and Esther Lane.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, use caution in the area and follow posted detour signs.​​​
