BURGAW – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a Pender County road for bridge maintenance beginning Monday.
A section of New Savannah Road near N.C. 53 will close for bridge repairs for about three weeks. The road is expected to reopen Jan. 22.
Motorists should use caution when traveling near the area and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
