CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will be closing several ramps Monday and Tuesday nights for overhead sign work associated with the I-485 express lanes project, weather permitting.
Each night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., crews will close the ramp from I-485 Outer to I-77 North & South (Exit 67) and the right lane on I-485 Outer between S. Tryon Street (Exit 1) and I-77.
During the closure, drivers will continue on the Outer Loop to Exit 65A (South Boulevard), cross over I-485 to access the Inner Loop, returning to I-77.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working in these locations and allow extra time to reach their destination.
