NORWOOD– N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews are temporarily closing the bridge on Indian Mound Road over Lake Tillery next week for maintenance work.
The bridge will close on Thursday morning, Jan. 22 and will reopen by Friday, Jan. 23. The bridge may open the same day if work progresses.
A signed detour will be in place along U.S. 52 and Bowers Road, returning to Indian Mound Road. Drivers should remain alert, use caution, and prepare for delays.
