WINSTON-SALEM – The N.C. Department of Transportation has closed Clemmonsville Road at the intersection at N.C. 150 (Peters Creek Parkway) after a tractor-trailer hauling an excavator struck the bridge on Jan. 19, damaging the concrete girders.
The closure will remain in place indefinitely until repairs are complete.
Drivers traveling on Clemmonsville Road should follow the signed detour for N.C. 150.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and allow extra travel time.
