DELWAY – The N.C. Department of Transportation has temporarily closed a Sampson County road for pipe replacements.
Rogers Mill Road will be closed in various locations over the next month while crews replace several crossline pipes. These pipe replacements are needed to prepare the road for upcoming resurfacing work.
The road is expected to reopen Feb. 20. This work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
Drivers should use caution when traveling near the area and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
