KENANSVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation has temporarily closed a Duplin County road for several weeks.
A section of N.C. 50 over Tea Swamp near N.C. 24 closed this morning for bridge maintenance. The road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. March 19, weather permitting.
Local traffic can detour using N.C. 24 (Routledge Street).
Drivers should use caution when traveling near the area and check DriveNC.gov for updates.
