GREENSBORO – Contractors with the N.C. Department of Transportation are set to perform a lane closure on U.S. 70 to allow crews to install new overhead sign foundations, weather permitting.
Beginning March 10 at midnight, crews will close the left lane of U.S. 70 West (Wendover Avenue) between Gatewood Avenue and Homeland Avenue. The lane is scheduled to reopen by March 13 at 5 a.m.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead as their commute may take longer than normal and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
