UPDATE: Due to the inclement weather this week, the closure will extend through 5:30 p.m. on March 12, weather permitting.
WINSTON-SALEM – The N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close the right lane and ramp on U.S. 421 southbound between mile markers 227-228 for concrete repairs.
The scheduled closures will occur as follows:
Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 9 a.m. through Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 5 a.m.
Thursday, Feb. 19, at 9 a.m. through Friday, Feb. 20, at 5 a.m.
These two‑day work periods will repeat on the same weekday schedule for three weeks, concluding at 5 a.m. on March 6, weather permitting.
Drivers should use caution and allow extra travel time.
