WILMINGTON – Two New Hanover County intersections will be converted to all-way stops this month to improve safety.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will install stop signs and pavement markings at the following locations:
- March 12: Kerr Avenue where it intersects Farley Drive.
- March 16: Princess Place Drive where it intersects Barclay Hills Drive.
An all-way stop is a proven, cost-effective measure designed to enhance intersection safety and reduce the risk of serious crashes. For more information on this initiative, please visit the NCDOT webpage.
Drivers should exercise caution when traveling through these areas while the safety improvements are underway. This work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.
