HILLSBOROUGH – N.C. Department of Transportation crews are scheduled to close the Orange Grove Road bridge for repairs next week, weather permitting.
The closure will begin March 27 at 10 p.m., and the bridge is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. March 30.
A signed detour will be in place directing traffic around the closure:
Northbound traffic: New Grady Brown School Road, Dimmocks Mill Road, Eno Mountain Road before connecting with Orange Grove Road.
Southbound traffic: Eno Mountain Road, Dimmocks Mill Road, New Grady School Road back to Orange Grove Road.
Motorists should expect delays, follow posted detours and use caution in the area.
