EMERALD ISLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will re-stripe a section of N.C. 58 in Carteret County beginning next week.
Crews will perform overnight slow-moving operations on N.C. 58 from the Emerald Isle bridge to the intersection with Atlantic Beach Causeway.
Work will take place Monday through Friday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., beginning March 23. Re-striping is expected to take about two weeks.
Motorists should use caution when traveling near the operation and seek alternate routes to avoid travel delays.
