ROCKY MOUNT – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles’ driver license office (DLO) in Andrews will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday and remain closed for two weeks to allow for scheduled building upgrades.
NCDMV will open a temporary office location on April 6 at the Town of Andrews Facilities Building located at 85 4th St. to continue providing service to walk-in customers during the office closure. Office hours will remain Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The permanent office, at 1440 Main St., in Andrews, is expected to reopen on April 20.
All customers with office appointments have been rescheduled. Customers with CDL skills test appointments will continue as scheduled.
In the meantime, customers can visit any of the following three nearby DLOs:
• Bryson City, 2650 Governors Island Rd.
• Franklin, 16 Patton Ave.
• Sylva, 876 Skyland Dr., Suite 2
