LEXINGTON – Maintenance crews with the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to close a section of Hugh Miller Road to replace a storm drain culvert.
The closure will begin April 6 at 7:30 a.m. and the road is expected to reopen by 5:30 p.m. April 10, weather permitting.
During the closure there will be a signed detour in place. Drivers can take Hugh Miller Rd, N.C. 8 to Jersey Church Rd.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and obey all posted signs and be alert for crews working in the area.
