ROSE HILL – The N.C. Department of Transportation has temporarily closed a Duplin County road for several weeks.
A section of J.B. Stroud Road over Interstate 40 near Tracy Brown Road is closed for bridge deck repairs. The road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. May 8, weather permitting.
Local traffic can detour via J.B. Stroud Road to Tracy Brown Road to N.C. 903 to Leonard Rich Road.
