JACKSONVILLE – An Onslow County road is scheduled to close for several weeks.
Beginning at 8 a.m. April 13, Onslow Grading and Paving will close a section of Walton Road near N.C. 24 for paving and reconstruction at the railroad crossing. The road is expected to reopen May 29.
Drivers should use caution traveling near the area and follow the posted detour route.
