THOMASVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close a section of Joe Moore Road to replace a drainpipe.
On April 27 at 8 a.m., crews will close Joe Moore Road to through traffic between Br Xing Drive and Hilton Drive. The road is expected to reopen by 5:30 p.m. May 1, weather permitting.
A signed detour will direct motorists to use Joe Moore, Hasty School, Hasty Hill and Burton roads.
Drivers should follow posted signage and remain alert when driving in work zones.
