WALKERTOWN – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Knoll Ridge Drive next week.
Knoll Ridge Drive near Reidsville Road will close on April 20 at 6 a.m. and is expected to reopen by May 30, weather permitting.
The closure will allow crews to facilitate construction of the new U.S. 158 West alignment and the Knoll Ridge Drive intersection.
A signed detour will be in place directing drivers to Esther Lane to Knoll Ridge Drive.
Motorists should allow extra time, use caution near the work zone, and follow all posted detours.
