DENTON – The N.C. Department of Transportation bridge crews are scheduled to close Piedmont School Road in both directions for bridge repairs, weather permitting.
The closure will begin April 27 at 8:30 a.m., and the bridge is expected to reopen by 4:30 p.m. May 8.
A signed detour will be in place directing motorists to take N.C. 47, Skeen Road, Cranford Road back to Piedmont School Road.
Motorists should expect delays, follow posted detours and use caution in the area.
