DURHAM – The Department of Transportation’s maintenance crews plan to close a section of Morreene Road for one week to repair a pipe.
Morreene Road will be closed in both directions from Erwin Road to Mordecai Street beginning at midnight April 27 and remain closed through the evening of May 4, weather permitting.
Detour signs will guide motorists around the closure.
Officials encourage travelers to plan ahead, allow extra time for their commute and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
