RALEIGH – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to close a section of Western Boulevard and several ramps at its interchange with Interstate 440 to conduct night work.
Western Boulevard East will be closed at the Beltline Sunday Night from 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
This means the I-440 West ramp to eastbound Western Boulevard, the eastbound Western Boulevard ramp to I-440 East will also be closed during the above times.
Drivers will be detoured to use I-440 West, Melbourne Road and I-440 East.
