DURHAM — Crew plan to close a section of Fletcher's Chapel Road for one week for bridge repairs.
Fletcher's Chapel Road will be closed near North Mineral Springs Road, weather permitting, from May 11 at 9 a.m. to May 18 at 4 p.m. so crews can work on the 51-year-old bridge over Chunky Pipe Creek.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area, obey all traffic control devices and plan ahead for delays. Local access will be maintained where possible, but through traffic should seek alternate routes.
