RALEIGH – Forty sections of secondary roads in Wake County will be milled and resurfaced under a contract awarded this month.
Blythe Construction LLC of Charlotte can begin the work in early June on the $3.9 million contract recently awarded by the N.C. Department of Transportation.
The overall contract covers more than 16 miles of roadway, including these secondary routes:
Kildare Farm Road from Tryon Road to Maynard Road
Holly Springs Road from Penny Road to near Lilly Atkins Road
Green Level Church from Roberts Road to Kelly Road
Holt Road from Old Jenks Road to Jenks Carpenter Road
Blythe will have until the fall of 2027 to complete the project.
