Morrisville — A section of the Indian Creek Greenway will be temporarily closed as part of Phase I of the Airport Boulevard extension project.
The closure will begin May 13, weather permitting, and is expected to remain in place until the project is complete.
To maintain connectivity for greenway users, a pedestrian and bicycle detour will be in place spanning just over a quarter mile along Garden Square Lane. Signage will be installed to guide users safely along the alternate path.
Officials encourage residents and visitors to use caution when traveling through the area and to follow posted detour signs.
