MOCKSVILLE - A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close one lane of Interstate 40 beneath the Pinebrook School Road bridge Monday through Wednesday.
On Monday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., I-40 East and West will be closing one lane between mile markers 174-176.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., I-40 East and West will be reduced to one lane between mile markers 174-176.
The lane closures will allow crews to safely remove concrete safety barriers and install new asphalt pavement.
Motorists should expect delays and use caution when traveling through work zones.
