WALKERTOWN – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will begin a road widening project on Darrow Road beginning Tuesday, May 26.
Crews will close Darrow Road at Old Hollow Road for 14 days near Walkertown in Forsyth County. The road closure will be from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday through 5:00 p.m. June 9.
Construction on Darrow Road will tie-in to the new alignment at Old Hollow Road.
Drivers should plan ahead for delays and follow all posted detour signs to avoid the work zones.
