WAXHAW – Next week, N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will temporarily close the roundabout at N.C. 200 and McWhorter Road, south of Waxhaw near the South Carolina border.
The roundabout will be closed to traffic starting Monday morning, June 8, so crews can safely repair the concrete apron within the roundabout. The closure is scheduled to last through Wednesday afternoon, June 10.
A detour will be in place for drivers along Potter Road South and Nesbit Road while the roundabout is closed.
