FARMVILLE – Contract crews for the N.C. Department of Transportation are scheduled to begin resurfacing North and South Main Street on June 9.
The project will extend from U.S. 264 (Marlboro Road) to the Interstate 587 overpass and is expected to be complete by early July, weather permitting.
To help minimize disruptions to local businesses and reduce impacts to nearby residents, crews will work during both daytime and nighttime hours, depending on the phase of the resurfacing work.
Motorists should expect periodic lane closures and delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
