MOUNT PLEASANT – Next week, N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will start a cross-pipe replacement project on N.C. 73 near Barringer Street in Mount Pleasant.
N.C. 73 will be reduced to one lane after the morning drive on Monday, June 22. Automated flaggers will be on site to move traffic through the area while crews work around the clock to complete the pipe replacement.
Weather permitting, traffic will return to a two-lane pattern by midweek. Drivers should remain alert, use caution, and prepare for delays.
