LAKE PARK – Next week, N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will temporarily close the roundabout at N.C. 218 and Mill Grove Road, between Mint Hill and Fairview.
The roundabout will be closed to traffic starting Monday morning, June 22, so crews can safely replace the truck apron inside the roundabout. The closure is scheduled to last through Thursday afternoon, June 25.
Eastbound drivers on N.C. 218 will be detoured along Rock Hill Church Road, Mill Grove Road, Noah Helms Road and Crowell Dairy Road, returning to N.C. 218. Westbound traffic will follow the same detour in reverse.
Drivers on Mill Grove Road will be detoured along Rock Hill Church Road, N.C. 218 and Brief Road.
