NCDMV Fort Bragg Office

A new driver license office and kiosk are now open to serve our military community.

The Soldier Support Center at Fort Bragg is the newest N.C. Department of Motor Vehicles driver license office and service kiosk.

The new office offers license and ID services to members of the military, their families, civilian base employees and other walk-in customers.

Buc-ee's Groundbreaking

A new Buc-ee's travel center is under development along the Interstate 40 and I-85 corridor in Alamance County.

Last week, the N.C. Department of Transportation joined corporate and local officials for the groundbreaking event in Mebane.

The 74-acre facility is expected to bring 120 gas pumps and 24 electric charging stations to the Trollingwood-Hawfields Road interchange.

As part of its required development improvements, Buc-ee's is contributing to NCDOT's adjacent project to upgrade the interchange with additional lanes in a Diverging Diamond pattern.

The interchange project is expected to be complete in fall of 2027.
