RALEIGH - Crews plan to temporarily close a section of New Hope Church Road next week to safely remove railroad crossing equipment.
Weather permitting, New Hope Church Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23 at the CSX railroad crossing.
Signed detours will direct drivers to use Wake Forest, Old Wake Forest and Millbrook roads and Atlantic Avenue to access points on either side of the closure.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, use caution near the work zone and follow posted detour signs.
