CHERRYVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close a Gaston County bridge during daytime hours early next week for maintenance.
The bridge on Requa Road over Lick Fork will close from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday while crews use a large piece of equipment to perform maintenance underneath the bridge. The road will be impassable while the equipment is in use.
Motorists should use follow Black Road, Lee Black Road and N.C. 274 to avoid the daytime closure.
