GIBSONVILLE – Norfolk Southern Railway will temporarily close rail crossings on roads near Gibsonville in Guilford County beginning today to install a second railroad track.
Crossings are expected to intermittently close over the next three days between the following:
- Freedom Church Road and Wagner Road
- Conoly Road and Carmon Loop
- Cullen Road and Cullen Road Extension
- Wagener Road and Bell Road
- PWR Line Road and Wagoneer Road
Norfolk Southern will post marked detours when crossings are closed.
Drivers should plan ahead for delays and follow all posted detour signs to avoid the work zones.
