RALEIGH – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to temporarily close Glenwood Avenue at Five Points overnight as part of a resurfacing project between Women's Club Drive and Wade Avenue.
The closure is scheduled for the nights of July 20 and 21. Each night, the road will close from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. During the closure, contractors will mill, pave and apply new pavement markings.
A signed detour will direct drivers along Oberlin Road and Wade Avenue.
