​BEULAVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close sections of N.C. 41 in Duplin County beginning Tuesday.
NCDOT maintenance crews will install five new crossline pipes along N.C. 41, between Chinquapin and Beulaville.
The crossline pipes will be installed over three days, July 14, July 16 and July 21. Work will begin at 9 a.m. each day and continue until the work is complete the same day, weather permitting. When work is not occurring, N.C. 41 will remain open.
Motorists should detour via N.C. 50, N.C. 903, Kenansville Bypass and N.C. 24.
Drivers should use caution when traveling near the area and seek alternate routes to avoid travel delays.
