CROUSE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will begin replacing a pipe in Lincoln County next week.
Beginning Monday, part of Dave Heafner Road will close while crews replace an aging pipe between Bennbroek Lane and Pleasant Grove Church Road. The replacement will take approximately one month to finish, weather permitting.
Drivers can follow a signed detour around the closure on Pleasant Grove Church Road, N.C. 182 and George Brown Road before returning to Dave Heafner Road.
Motorists should allow additional travel time, stay alert and avoid distracted driving.
